Hanko hits a new high

The Port of Hanko has had a remarkable turnaround in fortune since the dark days of 1996, when Railship, its major customer, transferred to Turku. Throughput has since doubled and will reach almost 1 mill tonnes this year. As the port caters exclusively for roro traffic, this represents significant levels of activity.
