Dutch company Van Bon is to operate a new fruit terminal in the Waalhaven area of the Port of Rotterdam. The terminal has been set up in co-operation with stevedoring company Steinweg Handelsveem and will cater for containerised and breakbulk (palletised) produce, although 70 percent of imports are expected to arrive in containers.
