Tenerife goes public

Luis Suarez, president of Tenerife Port Authority (APT), has announced that three existing container terminals at the port are to become public (common user) terminals, as a means of solving the port’s current capacity crisis. By doing this, throughput could be boosted by 120,000 TEU/year, whilst increasing profitability by 25 percent.
