Oz terminal productivity rises

Australia’s national crane rate productivity, as measured by the five-port (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle) average, increased in the December quarter 2001 compared with the September quarter 2001, according to the Bureau of Transport and Regional Eco-nomics (BTRE) ‘s latest Waterline report. The elapsed labour rate and the ship rate have also both increased.
