Charles McClafferty, the chief financial officer of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, last month made a detailed statement on the impact of the destruction of the World Trade Center (WTC) and the on-going consequences for the authority’s airports, marine terminals and other facilities and operations, including bridges and tunnels, PATH and the bus terminal.
