Reefers and break bulk for Richmond
NewsThe Port of Virginia has received a US$466,747 grant for equipment to support reefer containers and break bulk on its barge service linking Richmond with its deep sea terminals.
Green light for Radio Island LNG terminal
The North Carolina State Ports Authority (NCSPA) Board of Directors has approved an option to lease 46 acres on Radio Island , located on the Newport River between Morehead City and Beaufort, NC, to the El Paso Merchant Energy Company for construction of a liquid natural gas (LNG) storage terminal and pipeline distribution system.
