NewsKalmar Corporation has partnered with CES Srl to globally distribute and service CES reach stackers over 125 tonnes.
Chile’s San Antonio Terminal Internacional SA has ordered a total of 19 Konecranes Liftace reach stackers and one Konecranes Liftace ECH reach stacker.
STI is a joint venture between SAAM and SSA Marine. In late 2020, STI’s concession was extended by five years to 2030 after STI agreed a US$44.3M investment programme with the Port of San Antonio. That plan called for the purchase of two new STS cranes, two RTGs and six reach stackers.
With its order for 20 new machines from Konecranes, STI has purchased significantly more reach stackers. Konecranes will supply 19 Liftace model 4532 TCE 5 machines, featuring a box-type chassis. The machines are fitted with a longitudinally moveable cabin, offering drivers comfort, flexibility and ease of access. They are also equipped with the Konecranes static weighing system to provide the VGM of laden containers in accordance with SOLAS requirements.
The other reach stacker is a Konecranes Liftace 6/7 ECC 9, with a SWL of 9t.
