Hapag-Lloyd improves container tracking for inland transportation
NewsHapag-Lloyd has teamed up with HERE Technologies to expand its Live Position container tracking, adding ETA predictions for its entire fleet by early next year.
Cargo incident cases quantified by CINS
The Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS), an initiative set up by a number of shipping lines and managed by the Container Owners Association (COA), has identified that 24% of cargo incident cases are due to misdeclaration of the cargo and a further 37% to poor or incorrect packing.
