Kuehne + Nagel has set up a new structure for BMW’s spare parts business at the Central Distribution Centre in Bavaria

The Swiss-based international forwarder and 3PL specialist is aiming for 15%/year growth to reach 5M TEU-plus by 2014

Kühne & Nagel (K&N), which already the world’s biggest NVOCC, is aiming to build its seafreight business to ≥5M TEU/ year by 2014. Achieving this target requires 15% growth annually between 2009 and 2014.

Associated British Ports (ABP) says that its Hams Hall, Birmingham intermodal terminal, which it acquired in 2002, had its most successful year to date last year, despite the downturn in the global economy, with 15 new weekly train services added.
