NewsCarrier spends US$550M on one of its biggest container orders to date and continues its move to steel flooring.
California-based Purfresh Inc, best known for its Purfresh Transport ozone-enhanced active atmosphere technology, has added modified atmosphere, temperature control and shock monitoring functions to the system.
Touted as an alternative to controlled atmosphere (CA) systems, Purfresh Total Active Environment (TAE) is designed to maintain the optimal conditions for specific commodities during transport in refrigerated containers by controlling the full range of environmental elements, including ozone, atmosphere, temperature and relative humidity, whilst monitoring all parameters in real time.
