Kuehne & Nagel posts 2008 results

British rail freight operator DB Cargo UK has posted poor financial figures, but robustly defends its modernisation programme and is bullish for the future

Kuehne+Nagel’s Sea Logistics unit reported a 38% drop in EBIT to CHF 397 million in the first half of 2024, despite maintaining steady container volumes of 2.1 million TEU.

Kuehne+Nagel is consolidating four warehouses into a new facility in El Paso, Texas, due to the growing trend of nearshoring, opening on August 5, 2024.

The facility is ideally situated close to John F. Kennedy Airport and Port Elizabeth, as well as one of the top consumer markets for fashion in the US.

Headquartered in Malaysia and established in 2006, City Zone Express has over 500 employees and operates in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and China.
