POLA re-issues China Shipping DEIS
The Port of Los Angeles (POLA) has re-released the draft environmental impact statement and report (DEIS/DEIR) for the Berth 97-109 China Shipping container terminal project, including “aggressive measures to reduce air emissions.” The project has already proved to be among the most controversial in the port’s history and the original DEIS/DEIR issued in 2006 had to be withdrawn.
