Magnum in demand
Thermo King reports strong demand in 2006 for its Magnum scroll/R404A reefer machinery with a number of leasing companies ordering Magnum units for the first time.
Important contracts have been secured with Carlisle Leasing, TAL International, Magnum Lease and Florens, the leasing arm of Cosco Containerlines. An order for 1,200 Magnum units from Florens marked both the first Thermo King order from this size of leasing company and also the first time that the end user, Cosco, has elected to induct Magnum reefer units into its substantial reefer equipment fleet.
