CRT launches POD trailer

Colin Rees Transport (CRT) of Melbourne, Australia has developed a new apparatus for pneumatically conveying containerised bulk powders and granular products that it claims could make the use of bulk bags and pressure tankers obsolete. There are already systems that pump product from a container liner and discharge it using a rotating vane valve but, according to CRT, these can degrade the material and clog easily.
