CIMC tackles AQIS flooring concerns

China International Marine Containers (CIMC), the world’s largest container manufacturer, has reacted proactively to suggestions by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) that not all containers meet AQIS requirements with regard to preservative retention in plywood and other timber flooring, by conducting random samples of commonly used flooring materials at its Inspection Centre in Shenzhen.
