As more and more containers are screened by X-ray inspection systems, there is a growing need for Customs officials and others carrying out the screening process to physically compare the paperwork on what has been loaded in individual containers with the X-ray images generated. In current container designs, however, there is no secure location for a manifest to accompany the container.
