JNPT mulls options
Faced with worker unrest, the board of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) in Mumbai has agreed to consider a proposal from workers’ federations that the port’s idle bulk terminal be converted into a container terminal as a joint venture between two neighbouring ports, JNPT and the Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) .
