Canada puts tariffs on Chinese EVs, steel imports
NewsGovernment imposes 100% tariff on EVs and 25% tariff on some steel products from China.
Although governed by different federal and state structures, Canada’s top ports still have to compete for traffic with US ports. The Association of Canadian Port Authorities (ACPA) claims that the port system in Canada in general and the recently passed Canada Marine Act (CMA) in particular put Canadian ports at a severe competitive disadvantages.
