Another bidder has withdrawn from the race to acquire the Ports Corporation of South Australia, leaving just two groups vying for the business…

The so-called SA Encounter Consortium, comprising grain marketers AWB Ltd and ABB Grain Ltd, with French companies Bouygues Travaux Publics and the Port of Rouen, is the latest to pull out, a month or so after Australia’s largest transport and logistics group, Toll Holdings, dropped its bid.
