Victoria rail to set new standards

The Victorian Government in Australia is to standardise the state’s country rail network as part of a new Regional Freight Links Programme. Minister for Transport Peter Batchelor said A$96 mill over five years would end more than 120 years of Victoria’s rail system being disconnected from the national rail network.
