Amficon reins back
UK-based Amphibious Container Leasing (Amficon) has been an active purchaser of 40ft high cube containers in recent years, having built up a fleet of more than 35,000 TEU since 1996. The balance of its fleet is mainly open tops or flush-folding flatracks, most of which are 40ft, and this comprises another 35,000 TEU in total.
