Kalmar buys Nelcon

Kalmar Industries, a daughter of Partek Corporation, has signed an agreement to acquire NHC Holdings BV, the holding company of Dutch crane builder Nelcon BV and Rotterdam/Antwerp-based service company Groot-Hensen BV.

The price of the deal, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, has not been disclosed. NHC has net sales of around US$80 mill (Nelcon US$72 mill and Groot-Hensen US$8 mill) – about 10 per cent of Kalmar’s.
