Despite the successful implementation of its autotrestle trailer lashing system on DFDS Tor Line’s newbuildings, SRC Scandinavian Ro-Ro Consultants has thus far not been able to interest any other operator.

The system, developed in conjunction with DFDS Tor Line, is relatively expensive in that it requires modifications to the terminal tractor as well as locking slots in the vessel decks, but enables the operator to make substantial savings on lashing costs.
