‘Sustainable’ wagon workshop for VTG
NewsVTG is investing tens of millions of euros to build a carbon-neutral workshop for the maintenance and repair of its freight wagon fleet.
VTG acquires workshop
VTG AG, Europe’s largest rail wagon hire company and a leading provider of rail and container logistics services, has acquired the Želos wagon workshop in Trnava, Slovakia. Founded in 1994, Želos specialises in repairing, maintaining, modernising and rebuilding rail freight wagons. Local management and staff and the Želos name will remain unchanged.
