Starting in November, controversial new restrictions on *7.5t road trucks (“sectoral driving bans”) come into force in the Austrian Tyrol, in a bid to improve air quality in this sensitive High Alps environment. This presents Rail Cargo Operator – Austria GmbH (RCA), part of state rail company öBB, with the opportunity to provide more Rolling Road (RoLa) services.
