UP opens new terminal

Union Pacific Railroad (UP) has officially opened its new Santa Teresa rail terminal in New Mexico, the latest facility on the railroad’s 23-state network.

The 2,200 acre site, which officially opened on April 1, is designed to produce greater logistics efficiencies along UP’s critical Sunset Route, the 760 mile line from El Paso, Texas, to Los Angeles.
