Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ) has signed an agreement with Russia’s Chelyabinsk regional government to take part in the South Ural (Yuzhnouralsk) rail project to link Russia and China by rail through dedicated container shuttle services between Urumqi in north Western China and a new industrial and logistics park being developed in Yuznouralsk.
