Fifth lock for Kiel Canal
Germany’s Federal parliament has approved finance for an urgently needed fifth marine lock for the Kiel Canal, the world’s busiest artificial waterway, accounting for more than 35,000 cargo vessel passages and more than 100 mt of freight per annum.
