DP World returns to Kalmar for more hybrid strads
NewsDP World inks deal with Kalmar for 14 new hybrid straddle carriers.
Cassettes for London Gateway
DP World London Gateway is tender ing for up to 35 translifters and 100 40ft cassettes for the feed at its on-dock rail intermodal terminal.
This will make London Gateway the second container port operator to use the cassette system in a lo-lo IY application, after APM Terminals Virginia (APMT-VA). Down the line, Rotterdam World Gateway may also tender soon for cassettes and translifters for the IY feed at Maasvlakte II, while APMT may use them for both the CY and IY feeds at the planned new terminal in Savona.
