The recovery in the container manufacturing sector is reflected in Q1 2010 figures released by China International Marine Containers (CIMC), which show that the world’s biggest box builder sold 102,900 TEU of standard dry freight containers in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 70% over the 60,400 TEU sold in the whole of 2009.
