Antwerp will soon be the starting point for new rail freight routes to Istanbul by XPO Logistics and to Madrid by Kombiverkehr.

Frankfurt-based Kombiverkehr KG is expanding its intermodal rail services in Sweden and will from mid-January be including calls at Hallsberg, Norrköping and Stockholm Norra (Rosersberg, which is located about 30km north of the city). Previously, Kombiverkehr’s operations in the country were confined to terminals in Gothenburg, Malmö and Trelleborg.
