DB’s Supervisory Board clears sale of DB Schenker to DSV
NewsDeutsche Bahn’s Supervisory Board gives green light to the sale of its logistics subsidiary, DB Schenker, to Danish transport giant DSV.
Following the successful trial run of a container block train from Beijing to Hamburg in January this year, as a collaborative project of the Chinese, Mongolian, Russian, Polish and German railways (see WorldCargo News January 2008, p17), DB Schenker is to start a regular weekly service next January.
