A 15-day trial run of double-stack container trains as part of India’s dedicated rail freight corridors project will begin in the first week of July.“The trial will be conducted along a 60 km stretch between Daitari and Jakhapura in eastern Orissa state to establish a new height for overhead electrical equipment so that double-stack trains can run on electrified lines,” a Railway Ministry official said.
