MTC moves into Mexico

MTC Holdings, now part of AIG Highstar Capital and the parent company of US-based Marine Terminals Corp (MTC), has completed the acquisition of an inland, multimodal terminal facility and services company in Mexico.

The Puerta México intermodal terminal is located in México state in the industrial zone of Toluca, approximately 40 miles west of Mexico City and offers multi-modal terminal services and on-site customs and bonded warehousing facilities to ocean carriers, railroads, intermodal and other logistics service providers. It is situated at km 15.5 of the Toluca-Atlacomulco highway and with direct access to rail line “N” of Kansas City Southern de México (KCSM).
