ECT acquires DeCeTe Duisburg

Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH)s’ Europe Container Terminals (ECT) Rotterdam has increased its stake in DeCeTe Duisburger Container Terminal from 27 to 51.56 percent.

“DeCeTe fits perfectly into ECT’s strategy of strengthening the connections between hinterland container flows and the sea terminals in Rotterdam,” said ECT president Jan Westerhoud. A barge shuttle and a train shuttle maintain daily connections to ECT’s Rotterdam terminals.
