The Port of Nevada, in collaboration with Union Pacific Railroad, CMA CGM Group, and the Port of Oakland, now offers intermodal service between Fernley and Oakland.

Union Pacific Railroad (UP) is to develop a new intermodal rail facility at its railyard in downtown Phoenix (AZ).

Tri-Cities Intermodal (TCI) is to develop a new intermodal rail terminal at Wallula (WA) in the North West of the US. The announcement follows the company’s signing of a lease/purchase deal with Union Pacific Railroad which includes the acquisition of properties, including a cold store previously occupied by Cold Connect and located just off Highway 12 in Wallula

Partnership will see chassis produced in Vietnam for the US market, avoiding tariffs in the process.

Optimisation software will play a key role in the ambitious project to implement a central system for internal container logistics at the Port of Rotterdam.

Switzerland’s Hupac will use data from its Nexiot rail car monitoring system to automate route planning and traffic management.
