…ACCC no to Patrick’s FCL deal

In a decision seen as portentous for Toll’s unfriendly takeover bid for Patrick, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has ruled against Patrick’s friendly takeover of leading intermodal and terminal operator FCL Interstate Transport Services (see WorldCargo News March 2005, p12).
