Just weeks after announcing its plans for a nationwide network of intermodal terminals (see WorldCargo News May 2005, p22), P&O Ports Australia (POPA) has launched its own dedicated rail link between Melbourne and Adelaide, replacing shared slots on Pacific National’s daily service.
