UK-based Armstrong Technology, part of Babcock International, has come up with the concept of a “Water Truck” designed to transport containers and/or bulk freight on the River Thames between the Estuary and as far upstream as Windsor, west of London. An optional self-(un)loading system is incorporated in the design.
