Eurotunnel to slash tolls

Eurotunnel, which wants to reduce its debt by at least €2.5 bill as part of its latest refinancing moves, has offered a reduction of up to 75 percent in the tolls currently paid by Eurostar and freight operators SNCF Fret and EWS. In return, the British and French governments would allow it to reduce its debt and interest payments.
