Typhoon hits Pusan cranes
As this issue was going to press,Typhoon Maemi ripped through the Port of Pusan with winds gusting up to 135 mph. At the time of writing, 80 people were reported dead from the most powerful typhoon to hit Korea since records began. Eight quay cranes were destroyed and another three derailed.
