Rapidly growing international container lessor Capital Lease has ventured into the European domestic market with the formation of a wholly owned subsidiary, Capital Intermodal.

“This is a natural expansion of our services into the attractive, but fragmented, European intermodal transportation market,” said Ian Karan, chairman of Capital Lease. “Capital Intermodal will supply and finance intermodal containers and associated equipment for shipping lines, rail operators and logistics providers active in the European market.”
