Saudi Arabia to develop logistics hub in Djibouti
NewsSaudi Arabia has signed a 92-year deal to develop a logistics city in Djibouti’s free trade zone to boost trade with Africa and attract Saudi investors.
Maadin (the Saudi Mining Company) and construction giant Saudi Oger will jointly execute the US$2 bill, privately-managed, 1500 km rail link between Jeddah and Dammam. The Saudi government will bear 50 percent of the project’s cost, Saudi Communications Minister Dr Nasir AlSalloum said recently.
