Hauliers get in on ICE act

Chemical transport companies have agreed that they need to play a much more proactive role than they have in the past in dealing with emergencies and incidents which occur during the distribution of chemicals. Hauliers will work closely with chemical producers in a major upgrade of the Europe-wide chemical emergency response scheme, following a review which revealed shortcomings in the present regime.
