Bari, Italy-based intermodal operator GTS General Transport Service has petitioned EU Commission president Prodi, Italian Transport Minister Pietro Lunardi and Trenitalia managing director Roberto Renon to take action against SNCF Fret, which unilaterally suspended northbound services through the Channel tunnel last month because of the clandestine migrants problem.
