EU votes to impose tariffs on Chinese electric cars
NewsEU Member States have voted to impose tariffs on Chinese battery electric vehicles (BEVs) as talks with Beijing continue.

The European Commission’s “white paper” on transport up to 2010 (WorldCargo News, September 2001, p13) has generally gone down well in combined transport circles in Europe, although the International Road Transport Union (IRU) has questioned whether it provides a “realistic policy framework” because its prescriptions “largely ignore road transport.”
