Legal challenge in West African rail

Africa Global Logistics is investing €75m to double the container terminal capacity at Cotonou Port to 1 million TEU, creating 200 long-term jobs at the port.

On 27 March, history was made when the first container freight train was moved between India and Bangladesh. The train from the north-eastern Indian city of Kolkata to Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka carried 60 TEU, mainly containing animal feed and fast moving consumer goods. The return trip mainly transported containerised textiles and apparel.
