Lyttelton deal off

Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) has withdrawn its bid to gain operational control of the Lyttelton Port Company (LPC) in New Zealand after the owner of rival Port Otago Ltd (POL) pulled off a sharemarket raid, blocking Christchurch City Holdings Limited (CCHL) gaining full control of the company.
