All operations at the newly-opened Mindanao container terminal in the Philippines were suspended late last month after OroPort Cargo Handling Services Inc obtained a court order.

OroPort was one of four groups whose tenders were rejected by the Phividec Industrial Authority (PIA) in a second, failed bidding last December. The temporary restraining order, issued just two days after President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo inaugurated the terminal, is valid for at least 20 working days.
