Rail companies prepare to automate planning

A recent poll of rail industry executives around the world conducted by Navis found that the rail industry is planning a significant technology upgrade. Some 60% of respondents said they plan to invest in automation, 58% in enterprise-wide planning and operational systems, and 43% in artificial intelligence and machine learning over the next three years
